Gadzhi Gadzhiev believes CSKA will win the upcoming Russian Premier League tie against Anzhi Makhachkala despite dealing with a lot of injured players at the moment
In the upcoming round of Russian Premier League action, CSKA Moscow will host Anzhi Makhachkala at Luzhniki stadium.
Going into the crunch league tie, CSKA will be without a host of key players. Vasili Berezutsky, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Akinfeev-c16676, is out for
the rest of the season after sustaining a knee injury.
Former Anzhi head coach, Gadzhi Gadzhiev, has admitted that the Armeytsy are clear favourites to win the upcoming match despite the injured players. He admitted that though the Koni are not in their prime form, but they have all
the attributes to better the Dagestani club at home.
The last time these two teams met in a league competition, Anzhi managed to claim all three points at home. Gadzhiev revealed that Anzhi will find it difficult to defeat the Moscow-based club this time around.
“Both the teams are experiencing worst run to the league campaign. I think both teams are very unhappy with the way they conducted their most recent matches. But I still think Anzhi are not good enough to get a win over CSKA.
“CSKA are without a doubt, one of the best Russian team. They have the winning spirit. They have won the UEFA Cup and numerous other trophies.” The former Dynamo Makhachkala coach was quoted as saying.
Gadzhiev revealed that it Anzhi’s coaching staff is disappointed with the latest results and they will try their maximum to turn the tables after recording a shocking win against the Armeytsy.
The former FC Krylia Sovetov Samara manager went on to admit that Anzhi needs to find consistency in their results after having a nightmare start to the third league round. The ambitious Russian outfit has claimed 6 points in 5
outings.
As things stand, they are at the seventh spot on the league table with 59 points, having a massive 15 points gap with the league leader, Zenit St. Petersburg.
