CSKA Moscow director general, Roman Babaev, has clarified that the Army Men are not looking to offload their star asset, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vagner-c35793 Love, this season. He admitted that the Brazilian has proved himself as a key figure at the Russian club since his arrival from
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Palmeiras-c40165.
FC Porto are currently looking for potential replacements to their http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276, but Babaev has insisted that the prized asset will not be leaving the Russian club unless a club meet their valuation for the 27 year old.
“We have received different proposal for Vagner, from Porto and from Brazil. There's not much to comment on.” Babaev was quoted as saying.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Flamengo-c39361 president Patricia Amorim wanted to lure the Brazilian national back to the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A but the negotiations had stalled over an alleged matter of transfer fee. The Brazilian club had accused the Army Men for being strictly unprofessional
after not replying to their 5 million Euros offer.
“We have been offering CSKA €5 million. For us it’s a big amount of money and we cannot offer more”. Amorim said.
Vagner Love had previously expressed his desire to return to the Brazilian league but the promising striker had admitted that it is not possible after the negotiations stalled.
“I have always expressed my desire to play at Flamengo. I like the club and the fans, but it is not going to happen now”. Vagner Love himself ended the speculation.
After winning the league encounter against Volga Nizhny Novgorod, the Brazilian hotshot had illustrated his desire to leave the club by insisting that anything can happen in the European transfer window.
But the director general has warned the potential suitors that the Moscow-based club is not willing to sell their goal machine on the cheap.
CSKA Moscow maintained their seven-point lead at the top of the table after defeating Krylia Sovetov 2-1 in the Russian Championship. After being eliminated from the Russian Cup by Volgar Gazprom, CSKA have been focusing on the league encounters and the
win has given the Moscow-based club a healthy advantage over Zenit St. Petersburg to compete for the Russian Premier League title.
