Tomas Necid, the CSKA Moscow attacker, has assured the fans of a better performance from his side in the upcoming UEFA Champion’s League group stage game against Inter Milan at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Milan.
CSKA suffered a 2-3 defeat against the Serie A club at home, the last time these two sides met. Necid is of the opinion that the Koni will enter the field to claim all three points against the Nerazzurri.
The Czech footballer went on to reveal that they played quality football against the Italian giants previously but they were unlucky not to collect all three points against them. Necid assured the fans of a neat performance in
the upcoming group stage clash this time around.
The 22-year-old is of the belief that the upcoming group stage match holds immense importance for the Moscow-based club. The Czech footballer urged his teammates to claim a win, revealing that it’s their last chance to progress
to the later rounds of the Champions League.
After the recent 2-0 defeat against Lille, the Armeytsy have fallen down to the bottom of the group table. They have identical points with the French champions but Lille are above them in the standings on goal difference.
“This is football, it happens. CSKA need to prepare for the upcoming tie and put all their effort for the last group stage encounter. We need to go on the field and win. Only in this case we will have a chance to get into the playoffs
of the Champions League.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
He added: “It is clear that the matches played away from home are always difficult but we will try to give them a difficult time.”
Unfortunately, Necid will not accompany his teammates to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, as the striker is out injured, currently undergoing the rehabilitation process.
Speaking on his recovery, he said: “My recovery will take another three months. I am getting better with each day because I am working very hard.”
The former Slavia Prague striker revealed that the Nerazzurri have arguably the best support in Western Europe but insisted that he has confidence in his team to cope up with the pressure.
