Question:

CSS Help: Why is IE displaying my page in this manner?

The url is: http://www.myspace.com/williamandthecougars

It loads great on Firefox, of course.

But in Internet Explorer, sometimes the content section isn't lined up properly. It's too far to the left by like 50 pixels. I can continuously press refresh in IE, and sometimes it displays perfect, sometimes it is offset. Why?

  1. I wish I could give you a good answer, but as far as I know it's just an IE/MySpace issue. You can get your page looking good in one browser or the other. Have you viewed it in Safari? Safari and Mozilla usually turn out good for me, and IE is the crapper.

My solution would be to change the layout of the page or redo it from scratch. That's probably not the answer you were looking for, but that's what I'd do. MySpace irks me in general and I don't like wasting energy on it. Or maybe try picking up that Hacking MySpace book if you're intent on having it perfect. Maybe that'd help, IDK. Good luck.
