I just got DSL installed by my local telco. They installed the Comtrend
CT-5621T Multi-port ADSL2+ Router. It currently is functioning in bridge mode but I want to use it as a router as well, but when I access the ebadmin page i am prompted for a username/password, the manual says defaults are root/12345, but that doesnt let me in. ISP doesnt know why and is of no help. I even reset the unit back to defaults and still same issue. I can view the status information on the webadmin page but cannot make any configuration changes. I am a network administrator with 9 years experience and I am at a loss for the solution. I have tried any and all variations of default logins for all type routers I have used before. CAn anyone explain this to me, whas the issue?? I personally thing its the ISP that has changed something in teh settings but they just started putting these devices in homes and the support does not even have a clye about them. Any help is appreciated.
