If someone goes to Puerto Rico for a week and someone else goes to Cuba for a week who will have the darker tan? (hypothetically if they spent the same amount of time in the sun)

  1. Puerto rico is closer to the equator and therefore closer to the sun, so I would say Puerto Rico.

I don't know why anyone would be going to Cuba anyway. It's not allowed. You would probably be shot.

  2. About the same. I've been to Cuba and other tropical places and it's very easy to get very dark. Both places are located by the ocean...therefore, salt water and salt air. That alone helps deepen your tan.

But it also depends where you'll be in Puerto Rico. Some places are cooler in temperature (even though it's hot lol) than Cuba.

So if you're in the lower elevations of Puerto Rico, it'll be hotter and the temperature averages between 21 and 32 C. The higher elevations are about 16 to 27 C....

That given, you might get darker in Cuba. If you're constantly sunning at the beach in Puerto Rico though, you'll get a beautiful tan too.

So now that all is said, maybe it's just a matter of where your heart lies.

    pssst....go to Cuba :-)

    Just kidding....

**Edit: wow, the serious misconceptions americans have of Cuba....when it comes down to it, Cuba's safer than Puerto Rico. And NO ONE gets shot going to Cuba.

  3. If you are like me and just get freckles and burn - then it doesnt matter where you go!  You will never get tan anyway!  Ps - I have been to Cuba and loved it, it comes highly recommended.  This year I will be in Puerto Rico - I will tell everyone which country gives me the most freckles!

  4. I am not sure but would nt they both get the same amount of sun.but here is something that i can tell you more can,go to cuba then spain or puerto rico!
