CUBS FANS - Do you still believe that the Chicago Cubs have what it takes to win the NL Central and go ?

far into the playoffs? After losing 3 straight at home I've become a little cautious, but I still have confidence in them that they will get back to winning ball games. What surprises me is that this offense, as hot as they have been, can cool off so bad, where they can't even score a run.

Do you know the Cubs have not had any extra base hits (doubles, triples or homers) since Friday?

We believe every year!!!  This is only the second time this year they have lost three in a row.  The first time they went on a 15 out of 20 winning streak right after.  They will be fine!!!

yeah they've got some good offensive firepower but fukudome has to start hitting better like the start of the seson

Yes - I am almost happy that they hit a little funk.  Now they know they are human and they can get their head on straight for the last month.

Can't win games unless you score runs, and that didnt happen these last few games.

It looks to me that the Cubs will be going to the playoffs as the best team in the National League with a real chance to bring a championship home to their fans this year.  Every team will go through some difficult times during a long season and it is better that theirs is now rather than the playoffs.

Seriously are you that shallow? Its been 3 freaking games. Of course I still believe that we will make it to the playoffs. This is why many people think that Cubs fans are idiots but guess what its the moronic bandwagonners that mess up our good names.

Yes, the Cubs will win the division.  They still have the best record in the league. The Cubs' starting pitching is good enough to win playoff series.

Chicago hasn't had an extra base hit since Soriano homered in the seventh inning of Friday's game against the Phillies. That is 28 innings w/o an extra base hit.  The Cubs' last 27 hits have all been singles.  In those 28 innings, they only have five runs.  You can't win too many games scoring less than two runs per game.

The Cubs have cooled off the last few games.  But if the Cubs go 12-12 the rest of the way, the Brewers would have to finish 17-8 to tie for the division..
