I was in 5th grade last year and I wore Hot Topic clothes, so what?
Anyway,
I suggest you wear some cute black or gray skinny jeans, and a pair of low-top Converse sneakers. And for the shirt, I`d go for a cute checker shirt and maybe a Aeropostale hoodie over it.

fyi ok lot's of people in the 5th grade shop hot topic . It's true it is more suitable for teenagers but you don't have to be judgemental , i am in the 5th grade and I shop hot topic , pacsan , wet seal , jeans warehouse , localfever and blue hawaii . So umm... im not sure what it's like int he other states but 5th graders in hawaii more ballin' then you guys then .

Dudes seriously? I started shopping thier in like third grade. Its not about guys and maybe limited too doesnt fit her personality. just try a band tshirt ( actually know the band before you buy the shirt), skinny jeans, and anything else you want. ( i started wearing eyeliner later in the second semester. Just pick make up you like but make sure you dont look fake or like a clown. Learn how to apply makeup if you wear it!! i learned on my own with a little help from my sister ( she just taught me eyeliner).)( try covergirl if you want make up. ELf is good to if you can find it plus its cheap i had some of their stuff when in was little and just testing out make up) oh and start light nothing to heavy i started with raccoon eyes and im glad my makeups changed.( most elf stuff is like one dollar but it depends on the product and pleae get a good foundation that matches your skin tone if you wear it.

hot topic is for middle and high school kids if you want cute clothes that aren't innapropriate go to khols,limited too,justice,ross,marshalls,old navy or gap becuase you shouldn't be trying to look s**y for gods sake your a 5th grader almost and let me tell you if you wear that stuff you'll get lokked at funny and get made fun of becuase you don't look like everyone else and you look like and 8th grader not a 5th grader so i would not wear that stuff if i were you
