CUTE boots for COLD weather/snow/ice?

Question

I just moved from Florida to Northern Virginia and will need some warm boots that are fashionable and cute but will work in snow and ice (as in, won't soak up melting snow and won't slip on ice). I heard boots with heels is a bad idea, but I also don't want something ugly. I am open to suggestions for stores that I can actually GO to or online stores that you recommend!

Uggs but they are really exspensive so i would suggest going to one of the racks to find some. They sell all kinds of shoes for lower prices.

well if you dont feel like spending hundreds of dollars jsut go to victoriassecret.com they have so many choices and they are so cute. and veryy good for winter.
