CV templates, which one is best to use?

I need to write a CV to send to employment agencies but I am not sure which one is best to use and would look the most professional, i havent had much work experience as ive only just finished uni, can anyone help? id be really grateful, thanks

  1. Agencies will want to check your CV before they forward it to companies - they want it to get the highest chance of you getting a job through them

    Most important then is a simple layout so they can focus on the words - layouts with tables (even if it doesn't look like a table) are plain annoying and will detract from what you have to say.

    Give a profile of yourself in this style:

    Hard-working, reliable team-player who likes to succeed. [Miss out the words "I am a"]

    Talk about what you did at work/work experience/anything useful in this style:

    Answering e-mails and taking calls. [using "-ing" ending and bullet points]

    So for a successful agency CV the content should stand out, not the design - bright colours and funky layouts tend to make it look like you don't have much going for you

    Formal style, bullet points, headings, black&white, no tables :)
