CVSA Police Officer Hiring Process?

Question

I just failed a CVSA test without telling a single lie, since I really have nothing to hyde, and I'll have a second opportunity with the same Police Department I'm applying with in few days.

How could I possibly fail just telling the truth? Are there any tips to pass this test? Why will someone fail telling the truth?

That is why most courts don't admit evidence from lie boxes. They are unreliable. The FBI and CIA give agents the box all the time but they still have some very bad spies in them.

All you can do is relax. Make sure you take no drugs of any kind, especially allergy or sinus meds, and avoid caffeine for a week before. A week because if you already have a caffeine addiction your first couple of days off are bad.

Start practicing some simple breathing meditation. Good luck and if you fail again look for a department that does not use the box, a lot don't.

Here is a simple breathing mediation taught to cops and combat personnel, someone gave it a name of Tactical Meditation.

Breathe in through your nose for a count of 4

Hold for a count of 7

Breathe out through your mouth while pursing your lips (creating a back pressure) for a count of 8

Repeat 4 times or as long as you can. As you relax your count can get slower so it takes longer.
