Ca anyone please tell me where in u.k you can get lap band for under £5000?

The lap band is for my mother in law whos family has a history of heart probems before the have been 50 shes 44 and wants help to reduce her weight now shes managed to save up £5000 nd can't save up no more she knows you can get it abroad for that price but doesnt like the risks.

I don't live in the UK...but I am a nurse.  I can tell you that cheap medical work (especially elective) usually proves to be a bad idea.  Wait until you have enough to go somewhere with a good reputation.  What good is a lap band if you get an infection and end up dead.  Antibiotic therapy is pretty scary these days because so many bugs out there are resistant.  It's not a good time to risk it...but then again, is it ever?
