  1. From end to end the Grapevine corridor is about 40 miles in distance and takes about 45 to 5o minutes to pass through depending upong traffic which can be bad at times and poor weather since it does snow heavily during the winter months along the I-5 Grapevine segment. Incidentally, several bus services operate along that route including Kern Regional transit, Megabus and Airport bus of Bakersfield and Amtrak thruway. Hope this helps.


  2. Five to six minutes going north and a couple more going south.....  unless its snowing and then it will be shut down until it clears.

    As you can see the "Grapevine" part refers to a 6 1/2 mile stretch of the Ridge Route, this is proof that a lot of so called "EXPERTS" are either ignorant or are VERY mis-informed and post just to make a couple of points without having a clue!  And further add the BS statement that they are an expert!
