  4. no u can't smoke in the bars.  i was at the target center for a pistons basketball game & prior to the game we were out drinking at the bars surrounding that area.  and no i had to go outside :0(

  5. I am almost positive the Twin Cities have instituted an indoor smoking ban.  But I'm sure if you search there are several places with very nice heated patios for the smokers to enjoy.

    I would check out the Uptown district right off of Lyndale Avenue or the area around Lake Calhoun.  Both very fun!
