I just got a hamster and i was wondering what should i be feeding him (i.e. What would be the proper diet?) Also, I was wanting to know what kind of tioys that i could give him that could help his teeth wear down>

Lastley my hamster is kindof fat so back to the diet thing...What can i do to help him lose weight and become healthier?

Give you hammy fresh veggies and fruits.  Also, you can buy chew sticks at WalMart really cheap.  I also give our hammy Kaytee hamster food.  It has a great variety of seeds.  Also ,for a treat, give the hammy TimmyTots.  They are yogurt covered timothy hay.  Our hammy loves them and they are very healthy!
