Cab or concierge?

What's the cost of a taxi from the Ft. Lauderdale airport, just about one and a half miles away to the Ft. Lauderdale beach hotel? Wouldn't this be cheaper and better than the conceirge service provided at $25 per person for me and my wife? We are even considering walking it with our luggage. What do you suggest?

Probably $9-$10. I would take the taxi. Well worth the money.

if you visit FLL website they probably have an area for ground transportation whcih can tell you better what the current prices are

I believe that the cab would be cheaper.  Considering that they usually charge about $1.50 per mile... or something like that.  It would def. be better to take the cab.
