Newcastle United’s star midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yohan-Cabaye-c37423 has said that his quiet start to the season is down to match fatigue and exhaustion, and insists he is very happy at the club.
There were a lot of expectations placed on the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international after a successful debut season with the Magpies. Cabaye completed a move to Tyneside last year from then French champions Lille.
The player quickly established himself in the Spurs first team set up and became their most influential player in the midfield.
The player’s form for Newcastle led to his selection in the French national team for the Euro 2012 tournament that took place in June. Cabaye had an impressive tournament for his country, and he quickly became a target for top European clubs.
The player was linked with a move to Manchester United and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, but ended up staying with the Toon. Cabaye had previously spoken about his happiness at being a part of the club and laid rest to all speculation by saying that he was going nowhere.
However, there were still many rumours that circulated about a possible departure. Many reports suggested that his slow and disappointing start to the season is down to his failure to move away from Newcastle.
Cabaye has however said that his slow start is all down to match fatigue and exhaustion, as he again expressed his happiness at being a Newcastle player.
"I'm very happy here and I've never thought any different,' he told reporters. “But I've felt really tired. It was hard straight after the Euros.”

"It's the first time I've come back after a big international competition in my career. And it had been a hard first season in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, with all the games and no winter break.”

"I'm working very hard to get fit. I want to play every game at full speed for 90 minutes. I don't want to make excuses, it has been difficult for me but I'll work more, rest better and I'll be fine."
Newcastle United travel to Goodison Park tonight to face http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043, and all eyes will be on Cabaye as Newcastle target their second win of the season. Everton’s impressive home record has already led many to predict a win for the Toffees. Regardless of the
result, the game is set to be a cracker.
