Newcastle United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yohan-Cabaye-c37423 has admitted that he is looking to help France have a very successful run in the Euro 2012.
The midfielder went on to have a brilliant first season in England, with the midfielder going on to attract a number of clubs across Europe. However, he admitted that he was happy to play under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew and that he would continue to do so next season.
At the same time, Cabaye also feels that the time he spent in England has helped him adapt to different styles of football and this is only going to help him out in the future.
When talking about his debut season for Newcastle, the midfielder is reported to have said: "I think my first season in England is going to help me to do the right things with the French national team”
"Now the season with Newcastle is over I am very focussed on the competition and I cannot wait to know if I am in the 23-man squad or not.”
Cabaye then went on to insist that he was looking to have a very dynamic run in the Euros, given the fact that the team had a very poor and disastrous time in the World Cup in 2010.
"We have to have a main target of getting through the group stage,” he continued.
"The first game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 will be very important for us, to start right and to give us confidence for the next two games.”
"After that, anything is possible but we have to be focused on going through to the quarter-final."
The midfielder then went on to admit that he was quite excited by the fact that he was going to be playing in his first tournament with France and that he wouldn’t hold anything back, in order to help his country do the very best that they could.
Given how the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 team has changed over the course of the last few years and how many young players have come through the ranks, it is safe to say that the team will have a very different run in, this time around, when compared to the World Cup in 2010.
