Cabaye is hoping that Newcastle can push a deal for his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 teammate and good friend Debuchy, after revealing that the full-back is desperate for a move to the club.
The French full-back has been linked with the Magpies ever since the summer transfer window opened. Manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew had been keeping track of the Frenchman and stepped up his chase following France’s exit from last month’s Euro 2012 championship.
Debuchy had impressed for the national side, putting in solid performances where he made breathtaking runs down the right flank and defended with conviction. His displays put him on the radar of many clubs, but Newcastle have always been favourites for the
player’s signatures.
The Magpies could finally complete the transfer this week, but will have to increase their bid to convince Lille to part ways with their star player.

Cabaye claims that he is in constant contact with Debuchy and says that the player wants to come to England to play for Newcastle.
“Mathieu has made a very difficult to decision to leave Lille but he has made the decision. Now I hope Newcastle push for Mathieu and I want them to do the deal,” he said.
“I spoke with him two days ago and he told me he wants to come. I hope Derek (Llambias) and Mike Ashley will do the business now.”
“He wants to play for Newcastle and I hope that he comes to Newcastle because, of course, he is my friend but also a very good player for Newcastle.”
Newcastle fans will find comfort in the words of Cabaye. Perhaps even more comforting would be the fact that Pardew himself has admitted that he is in the process to bring at least two more players to the club by the end of this month.
