Newcastle United midfielder and star player http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yohan-Cabaye-c37423 has given his team good news and a major boost by revealing that he is set for a return in February after undergoing surgery on his groin.

The French midfield maestro had sustained a groin strain which ruled him out until the next year, dealing a major blow to Newcastle’s aspirations for this season. The club was already without most of its first team players, with both injuries and suspensions
depriving the squad of key players.
The likes of Fabricio Coloccini, Tim Krul and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 Simpson missed the start of the season while Haris Vuckic and Ryan Taylor suffered long term injuries which have ruled them out for the remainder of the season.
The likes of Cheick Tiote had been out suspended, missing three games. Coloccini later joined Tiote, and Newcastle were left with no muscle and steel in the team. Now, with most of the players back in the side, Newcastle have lost their most prized asset
in midfield. The former Lille player has been integral to Newcastle’s cause ever since he moved there from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899, and brings a totally different edge to the side.
Cabaye’s absence has been felt as Newcastle have only won 2 of their last 10 games. The club has dropped down to 14th, with only 2 points keeping it safe from the relegation zone.
The Frenchman’s injury was just another one of the club’s many problems. However, the player has given his team a major boost by announcing that he’ll be back in the side by February. Cabaye has already started running, and is doing well to recover from
the double operation.
Speaking to reporters, the 26 year old said:
“I had an operation nearly three weeks ago and I’ve started running again and going for jogs this week. The most important aspect is that I have no pain and I can start running. I know I must not come back too quickly. I’m on schedule for the start of February.”
In other news, Newcastle could be without star winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hatem-Ben-Arfa-c15884 for this weekend’s clash against Manchester City. The player has a slight hamstring injury, and is set to have a late fitness test before the big game.
