What do you do with the assortment of cabling and other electronic doodaddery (especially that not currently being used and not wanting to throw away!) that one tends to accumulate in the course of lifetime when you have a love of almost all things electronic? Would love to figure out somehow how to tag them.

  1. Zip-lock sandwich bags work great. Just roll them up and file them away!

  2. Me, I just keep them in a heap. Coaxial, RCA, tape deck/four RCA, S-vid, IDE ribbons, MFM ribbons, 25 pin serial runs, a bit of token ring, I also throw utterly no cabling away. I just bundle them up so they don't snarl, and again, leave them in a heap. If you're better at organizing, seperate by computer, TV/stereo, HAM, - by application, basically. Keep the obsolete or rarely needed cabling seperate on a different shelf.
