Cable Telephone....?

do i need a cable line as in a cable plug on my phone in order for it to work instead of a regular telephone line?

No, the cable line will plug into the modem, or MTA. and the phone line also plugs into the MTA.

This modem provides internet and telephone service.

well, you can have a cable, DSL or wifi /fixed!!

Its only worth it if you already have any high-speed Internet....!

TW, Cox, ATT, Comcast all have there own broadband phone services!!! Its, a little higher, then any other VoIP provider, but are guaranty to work from the start. If something don't work right, you will have better customer service!
