Cable Trouble?

Ok i have a tv and the input for cable kind of completely broke off. So I could only use the 3 inputs (Yellow, Red, White) So is the such a thing like a adapter or anthing lke that, that I can connect to the cable and the colored wires to watch cable?

  1. No because the Video input doesn't have proper cable tuning abilities but your can use a VCR or cable box as the cable tuner and hook the coaxial cord in to the VCR or cable box and hook the video inputs into one of them and access cable television that way.


  2. if you are using a set-top cable box, then you should be able to connect the cable from the box to the tv with the yellow, red, white wires, and put the tv on aux input to view cable...

    if you use this tv with out a set-top cable box, if you have a vcr with a cable tuner you can connect that so you can watch cable and change channels...

    otherwise you will have to get a set top box, or replace the TV, or get a DTV converter box and just watch over the air broadcasts with an antenna...
