  1. Yes, you just need component to VGA cable.


  2. There is no component to VGA cable. The signal distribution is entirely different. You will need an adaptor, which will be pretty expensive, but it is doable.

    Another option would be to ask your CableCo for a box that outputs HDMI and then get an HDMI monitor. It will probably be cheaper in the long run.

  3. there are component to vga cables because im using one on my dlp projector so i dont know where he got that answer,

    if your monitor accepts vga (ypbpr) then yes it should work

    i brought my cable on ebay

    20ft vga to component cable for about 20 quid from the usa as that is the cheapest
