Neither.

It's just not worth it to spend that much on a 12 foot run with negligible audible differences.

My suggestion:

Get 12 feet of coaxial cable and terminate both sides with F-connectors. OR, find some random coaxial cable that your cable or satellite provider left behind that happens to have 2 F-connector terminations on each side.

Then go to radioshack or frys or some other place that sells stuff like this and get two F-to-RCA adapters. s***w these on both ends of your 12 foot coaxial cable and voila! You've got yourself a good sub cable.

Option B: Get 12 feet of another analog RCA cable that's not a name brand but has a similar gauge to the Monster and save yourself dozens of dollars.

Without technical specs - nobody can give you an honest answer.

I will say that subwoofer frequencies are a trivial challenge compared to higher audio, video RF, micro-wave signals - yet most subwoofer cables are made with the same coax.

The only thing I have found is that subwoofer frequencies seem to like tight RCA plugs.  This is one area where the "Monster turbine-grip-of-death" plugs make for a superior option.  Just make sure whatever cable you get, the RCA plugs fit snugly and you should be fine.
