Cable or Dish which is the best way to go for Hi-Def?

Question

Who gives the most Hi-Def channels and who gives thier customers the best service. Price is also a concern

cable is the best. dishes depend on satellite and trust me in the rain they are completely useless and sometimes there useless in broad daylight

DirecTV has the most HD programming available and the quality is great.

I've never had a problem with satellite, except during serious storms where I need to be taking cover in the basement.  Plus, where I live, one cable company has a monopoly, so satellite is definitely cheaper.

Personally i prefer cable. One i noticed it seem to run smoother, two if there is a cloudy day or raining outside you dont lose your television signal and three if you get phone and internet usually they have greta bundle packages that are cheaper than get all three seperate!
