I ordered cable service by flow (a new cable company in jamaica) but my old cable company's cable is blocking the new cable from coming into the house.

I am wondering if i can give permission for the technicians that are going to come to remove my old cable company's cable to install the new one? or do i have to ask my old cable company to disconnect it first? because i dont wanna live one day without cable

  1. I dont know about Jamaica,  but in the United States you should cancel the first cable company before moving to the second one.  Also, in the United States, its all standard sized cable, its just a matter of the software the companies are using.  And for the last part,  if you canceled your first cable company's services I do not see why they could not remove the old cable.  And you may have to go without cable for one or two days.  You can not keep a cake and eat it too.
