My cable to my tv is short I was wondering if there is cable that you can buy and it plugs in to your cable that plugs into your tv

That cant be answered because I don't know what kind of cord it is.

The most common are RCA cords or  HDMI cord

If neither look at this list of cords, then re-ask the question with the correct cord name.

1. Buy a longer cable-- RG6 coax jumper wire at  Wal-mart, Radio Shack, or just about any electronics store.

2. Buy a F81 barrel connector $1.00 and put two cable together

If you call the cable company and tell them they should give you a longer cord free of charge.

Is the coaxial cable running to your TV hard wired? If not, just buy a new one; 25 footers of RG/58u are like 7$ at Walmart. If you have an older CATV installation, and the wire is not user replacable, buy an F-tip barrel connector and another coaxial cable as needed to make the run. The barrel inverts the termination, letting you attach another like cable to the old one, letting you span your desired distance without tearing out the old one. Radioshack should have the barrel, and again, Walmart or your local druggist should have the coaxial wiring.

coaxial cable from your wall to your tv?  if so, then you need male to male coaxial connector.
