Cable sezing for motor?

i need the procedure to calculate cable seize AND HOW MANY WIRES U NEED FOR 3 PHASE

RLA=200A

LENGTH=30M

art didn't address number of wires.

You need 3 plus a ground for 3 phase delta connection, or 4 plus ground for 3 phase Y connection.

I=160 amperes, full load amperes.

3-phase

Cable size is 3-conductor No.30 mm2 copper stranded rated 5,000volts cable and 90 deg C.

Resistance = 0.619 per kilometer(30/1000)

                     =0.01 ohms

I.IR =160(160)(0.01)

       =256 watts,

IR =160(0.01)

     = 1.6 volts, negligible voltage drop.

A smaller wire may be used for grounding,No.14 mm2.
