  1. radio shack! they will help you with everything.

  2. There is RG-59 cable and there is RG-6 cable. RG-59 has been around for years. This works with regular TV and basic cable. RG-6 is a better cable and cost more. It is better because it is made bigger and has better quality. RG-6 will pass higher frequencies than RG-59 can, This makes it better for satellite TV and high speed computer connections. RG-6 will also carry and pass a DC voltage for other things that RG-59 has a hard time doing.

As for connections and splitters, you get what you pay for. If you look close you can get ones that pass a higher frequency. Around 2GHZ is about as high as you will ever need in a house currently. It is true that if you ask at Radio hack they will help you out, but that was not what your Question asked. I hope this helped. If you have more questions feel free to e-mail me. Good Luck.

  3. They are all pretty much the same. Some cables are longer then others but they all do the same stuff, same goes with the splitters. You can buy them at Walmart, Target, Circuit City, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Pretty much anything with electronics would carry it.
