Cabo, Mexico horseback riding!?

HELP! i need to find a place to book horseback riding (NON TOUR! i dont want to be led around on a horse, i want to be able to wander on my horse with my family! plz help if you find anything post the site!)

Hola!  You will not find a mexican in mexico willing to hand over a horse and let you go off.  This is their livelihood.  Not to mention that the horses speak spanish...do you?  Besides, I would never go off in the desert or backroad on my own anyways here.   You do know Cabo is in Mexico right?

I was just on Costa Azul beach not too long ago and saw this tour group going along the beach, and a huge rouge wave came up and wiped everyone out, horses were freaking and ran away...that was with a tour guide!  So...please reconsider.  I would think safety would be your priority for you and your family?

If you really really really want to go horseback riding while in Cabo, there are two main beaches that offer this.  Medano Beach and Costa Azul beach in SJD.  Also the beach near the Westin Regina.
