Cabra Legend with flashy chances in the Williamhill.Com Springbok – 2nd Semi Final on 24th February
Wimbledon will stage the Williamhill.Com Springbok – 2nd Semi Final on Friday, 24th February. Bingo Boy, Catunda Ramos, Handy Manny, Razldazl Zamba, Cabra Legend and Any Questions will contest over the 480 metres hurdle field for the
prize money of £150.
The unbeaten till yet in the 2012 season is Cabra Legend, Big Daddy Cool’s white, fawn son out of b***h Cabra Star. He struck a victory on 8th February at Wimbledon by clocking the 480 metres hurdle in 29.76 seconds. He swept the field, leading
by eleven lengths.
The race had Catunda Ramos as the runner up and the two will be racing together again today.
On 18th February, Cabra Legend won the Williamhill.Com Springbok 1st Round Heat 3 at Wimbledon. The 8/11 favourite of the race was through the 480 metres distance in 29.46 seconds, in lead of six lengths.
It is highly unlikely that Cabra Legend will let go off his third start of the season, winning which will entitle him for a hat trick straight out of the initial three starts of the season.
Any Questions, Ballymac Maeve’s blue son out of b***h Owens Rover, has already translated three out of his four starts into victories while being the runner up in one.
He won the H2 480 metres on 7th January at Wimbledon. Any Questions was the 4/6 favourite of the race and was on the other side of the wire in 29.69 seconds, with the advantage on 3 ¾ lengths.
His next start resulted in a victory in the Williamhill.Com 2nd Springbok Trial Stakes on 21st January at Wimbledon. Entered as a 4/7 favourite, the winner was across the wire in 29.67 seconds. He was in lead of an unbelievable thirteen
and a half lengths.
After bumping into a second position on 11th February, Any Questions won Williamhill.Com Springbok 1st Round Heat 5 on 18th February at Wimbledon. Yet another time he ruled the track being the 4/5 favourite and clocked the
480 metres distance in 29.28 seconds. This time he was leading by 3 ¾ lengths.
Both the hounds are almost equally compatible and are bound to give each other a tough time during the race however, there are rest on the track that will take the level of competition higher.
