Sorry..But in Italy we have not "cactus" (I am sure ,I am Italian and I am answerig now from home !) In Italy we have not "xerofiles" plants..We grow these in green-houses..We have also many fat-plants but came from Mexico, Chile,Nevada desert, Africa....In the sauth of Italy growes only

"ficus indica"..and "ocpuntia "...But is easy to buy seeds from all the World !!

Why not? They grow bananas in Kew Gardens in London, I don't see why Italians could not grow cactuses in their botanical gardens. Look for -- Cactus "Italian Botanical Gardens" in Yahoo search and you will be surprised.

better be careful and insure that that meet all FDA importation requirements or you can be charged with smuggling dangerous or banded plant life into the country.
