Question:

Cadbury chocolate different in the UK?

I bought Cadbury chocolate when I was in London. Right away I noticed that it tasted much better than the Cadbury we have in the US, and the consistency was much smoother. Are foods sometimes made with different ingredients, in other countries? Does anyone know where I can find this chocolate in the Los Angeles area? I'm thinking that Cadbury must import some of it's chocolate here.

  1. Cadbury in America, is made by HERSHEYS

  2. Being from Canada and ours the Brits say tastes better than there does, it is the milk, sugar and the method they go through in the Chocolate making process, I have had many American chocolate bars or as you call them Candy bars and they lack the same intensity and creamy flavour.

I can give you a online store out of San Diego that sell British foods and they have the same Cadbury candies, here in the link.
