  1. The amount you are consuming is a lot, but it is not as bad as it could be, infact it is probably helping you maintain the weight you are at.

  2. make sure you are also getting enough caffeine free fluids in like water  and you should be ok

  3. Hi there,

Firstly, you need to be careful with weight loss. Rapid weight loss really isn't healthy for you and if you are planning on losing weight for an event, then you need to plan in advance. Typicaly guidelines are 2 to 3 pounds weight loss a week is healthy. More than that and you do run a risk of damaging yourself.

Losing weight is, in itself, relatively easy. You need to

    1) Consume Less Calories

    2) Burn More Calories

What is difficult is the motivation for weight loss.

Most people struggle to lose weight because they do not have the motivation and because they give in to all the temptation around.

I personally have found that hypnosis is an excellent way to deal with weight loss motivation as it works with the subconscious mind and really helps you get motivated. A good hypnotist can also do things like stop you craving chocolate and sweet things and help you be more motivated with exercise and the like.

I've also found that as the excess weight starts to drop off I am feeling much more self confident and better about myself.

Hope that helps, but please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.

  4. Coffee is beneficial for weight loss...however, it should not be consumed in large amounts.

The benefits of coffee for weight loss incluse:

-caffiene. it is a stimulant. In small amounts, it stimulates the body's meabolism, hence speeding up weight loss. However, if you take it in large amounts it messes up the body's metabolism, and might even obstruct weight loss

-antioxidants. The antioxidants in coffee are beneficial for weight loss, as many radicals might form by the process of weight loss . Antioxidants maintain the body radical free

Threr might be other compounds in coffee that are beneficial for weight loss that i am not aware of, however, do not over do it.

one or two cups are a day should be enough!! you've mentioned tat you drink green tea. that is even more beneficial for weight loss. and supplies your body with enough caffiene to boost metabolism. you could even take it several times a day to give you a maintained boost of metabolism!!

if you are addicted to coffee, you could try alternative like roasted chicory...tastes quite like coffee!!

  5. Every diet doctor I've been too said caffine is noted for holding fat cells in the body. Yes, it curbs your appitite but it also defeats the purpose of some of the diet and exercise. 1 cup a day is what your goal should be.
