I have powdered caffeine and was wondering if you can snort it and get the same stimulating effect as if it was eaten or if it is bad for your body to do so.

  1. NO!

GOD IF YOU SNORT IT YOU WONT GET ANYTHING!

  2. Snorting anything will damage the mucosal lining in your nose.  Just drink coffee or put the powder in pill form.  Snorting caffeine will not result in a high or any dramatically different effect from just consuming it normally.

Edit: If you snort it, expect to have a horrible burning sensation and an extended sneezing fit...

  3. I don't think it is any worse for your body to sniff it as it is to drink it. Caffeine is not good for your body.   If you were a Mormon, which I know you are not,  you could not use  caffeine, nicotine, alcohol,or any drug of any kind,  they believe their bodies are the Temple of life, so they should not put  these substances in it.  Sounds right to me.

If you had a nice new car, you  wouldn't put anything harmful in the gas tank would you?

Caffeine is bad for your body, any way it is taken in.

  4. It's pretty pointless. It'll burn and most of it will go back in your throat.

Yes you will get the same feelings but, no different than drinking it, I suggest just putting it on your tongue and swallowing it and be careful not too take too much.

++ caffeine is probably the worst tasting stuff ever. It'll probably taste better if you stir it up into kool aid or something. An empty stomach is the only way to have strong effects. Even if you took large amounts it won't be as strong when your stomach is empty.

  5. caffeine is not good for your health....
