  1. glass. personal experiance. 6 rats, actually. glass is better for cleaning, and is more visual. also, i don't think that any rodent has the strength to bite through glass.

    just use a fish tank. works fabulous

  2. uhhhh no!!! te cage you pick out is for a ferret! i would sugest gettin 1 like this

    if u get that 1 they WILL escape!

  3. Either a cage or a plastic tank

    Light ; not easily broken ; easy to clean ;

    Glass tank?

    easily broken.....

    Mostly , the wire cage....

  4. Wire cage is usually the best. Plastic cages, like hamster type stuff can work too. Glass tanks dont have great ventalation, so they tend to harbor diseases easier. I own rats and keep them in a wire cage.

    Most of the things on this page would work well

  5. Glass: easy to clean, but holds in odors. Very poor ventilation.

    Plastic: ok to clean..can trap odors in the plastic. Gets cloudy over time because of all of the scratches.

    Wire: can be hard to clean, may rust. Good ventilation. View does not diminsh over time as with plastic.

    Coated Wire: best choice (imo) easier to clean, wont rust. Provides good ventilation, won't hold odors. looks nicer.
