Cage Trouble? Jeez.?

I bought the crittertrail X cage for my soon to be hamster. I have heard very bad things about crittertrail. I wanted to get a longhaired syrian hammy, but im thinking the tubes may be to small. Should i get a dworf hamster? Can you include a picture of the all different kinds of dwarfs? Can you return a hamster cage if its alreay put together? Should i bring it back to the store, and make my own cage, or should i by i different one. I really would like a long haired syrian hammy, so can you also suggest some good cages for those type of hamsters?

  1. the cages are good. I used to have one. i dont think you can return em, depends where its from. Long haired Syrian hammys r SO CUTE! get one!

  2. Crittertrails really don't have a huge amount of space, so they're not good for most types of hamsters.

Whether or not you want to get a dwarf hamster is up to you, but the store would probably not let you take the cage back. There are several breeds of dwarf hamsters.

Syrians do best in wire cages, since they usually have more space and better ventilation.  :)
