Cagefighting?

I am 18 years old and looking for a local cage fighting tournament to enter. I read that you have to be 21 to cage fight, but I don't know if that was for that specific league. So if anyone that cage fights or is a fan of cage fighting can help me out, that would really cool. BTW, my fighting style is freestyle.

the guys at my old gym all fought at 18 yrs old. I've never heard of anyone having to be 21 to get a fight. And even before they turned 18 they fought in a bunch of "smokers" (typically unsanctioned exhibition matches at local gyms to gain experience before going pro). And typically its not very hard to lie about your age if you are underage. Like the pre-fight medical test, your background check is typically very primitive.  Often it turns out to be more like the honor system unless your fighting for a major organization.

it all depends on the league, dont forget that there are also underground competitions for ring and cagefighting and it doesnt discriminate against style. my brother makes most of his living from underground fights
