Caggy... This problem all of a sudden appeared..?

If I keep trying it the batterery will go flat. shall I try and knock the starter motor with a hammer?

I really need to sort out this prob, Ive got interviews to go to next week. and short of cash.

  1. If the engine is trying to fire then the starter motor is ok.  If there is a problem with the ignition system, it may be possible to over-ride it temporarily by removing the sparking plugs and reducing the gaps to 0.5mm.  While the sparking plugs are out, squirt a small amount of WD40 into the plug holes which will help to start the engine.  If none of these work, then sorry - it really is a garage job.  Good luck with the interviews.

    Edit - is it possible you have taken off the sparking plug caps and then put them back on the wrong plugs?
