Chelsea’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 and Juan Mata want the Blues to maintain their hot streak, as the London based club seems to be in unbeatable form this season.
The Blues went on to maintain their zero loss record in the league this season, as the team went on to beat Tottenham by four goals to two this past weekend.
Going into the game, it was believed that Tottenham might be able to be the first team to beat Chelsea, but despite the Spurs taking the lead in the game at one point, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 went on to win by four goals to two.
Both Cahill and Mata were on the score sheet for Chelsea, as they helped guide their side to a very comfortable victory.
However, the duo have admitted that the team can’t relax at any point, since they need to continue maintaining the lead which they have developed in the league.
Cahill, who scored the opening goal of the game is reported to have said: "It was a tough game and we knew it was going to be like that, playing away from home, but it was a fantastic result"
Mata, who put in a man of the match performance, with the two goals that he scored went on to feel the same way as Cahill, as he added that the team knew it was going to be tough playing away, but is happy that the team played so well.
"We always try to play with the ball and try to move and look for the gaps between the lines, and in the second half we did it really well. We are playing well and we are all enjoying this moment.”
"It was tougher than the score line suggests. We didn't start the second half very well, they scored two goals, but we are a team that always believes in our qualities and has confidence so we did really well in the last 25 minutes.”
With the players seemingly having the right mindset this time around, it is up to them to maintain their focus and continue to perform to the best of their abilities for the remainder of the season.
