I want to do a business in cakes.What do i need to sell them?Any qualifications?Or permit?ETc. Can it be done in my own kitchen?

You need a business license and a health permit. Your kitchen would have to be inspected and would probably not pass the commercial kitchen qualifications. They are very strict about counter surfaces, floor types, floor drains, etc.

Each state has different laws about whether or not you can run a cake business from home or not. In many states, you must have a separate kitchen from the home or a kitchen that complies with business standards. There are tons of helpful websites and information out there. It will help to know which state you are in first, though. In some states, though it IS possible to do it from your own kitchen with little problem.
