Cakes to be made by 12 year olds

Please tell me what cakes that look AMAZING and are REALLY TASTY that a 12 year old can bake!

Pan cakes european style (creppes).

I remember I used to make this and fill the kitchen with smoke each time my mother went shopping!

I particularily like the ones with bitter-cherries jam or green walnuts jam.

Sour cherries jam or appricot is great too! Fresh creppes, covered with jam, honey or chocolate sauce and rolled... Sprinkled with powder sugar and cinammon!

Oh I have 12 year old twins and my daughter makes those cakes...regular cakes ...and decorates them with the teddy grahams.

Dirt Cake is easy, looks amazing when you add the accents of gummy worms and silk plants.  You don't bake it, but assemble the pudding, etc.  That is fun for a 12 yr. old and also will get her lots of compliments.

Make a batch of cupcakes. Line them up on a sheet, frost the tops together so they look like a cake, and decorate just like a cake.

Choose any brownie mix flavor you want..I personally like peanut butter.

Then, instead of baking it like a brownie, put it in a cake pan, top with your favorite icing and enjoy!  hot fudge makes an exellent topping!
