Cal Poly SLO golf recruiting?

Okay, could somebody please tell me the low down on recrutement at Cal Poly SLO? I was told that Cal Poly is limited on there athletic scholarship money. Is that true? I'm trying to get a golf scholarship and my NEGATIVE coach says they don't give any money. Does anybody know? please help! I'd really like to go there.

P.S: I shoot high 70's.

I know that they are a little stingy when it comes to scholarships for sports compared to other schools.  But they do some scholarships, I would say try contacting the golf coach at Cal Poly, or the athletic director. Good Luck.

All schools are limited on how much they have for athletic scholarships, but if they want you bad enough they will find a way.  Forget your negative coach, and get in touch with the AD or golf coach at Cal Poly.  Send them your performance resume, and tell them how much you want to play for them.  It's worth a shot.

I'm not trying to be negative but if you play in the high 70's, there is no way you are getting a scholarship to any school, much less one in California.  Honestly, you need to play as a walk on and with your game you might not even make the team.   There are a million kids like yourself who want to play college golf, and play better than you.   Stanford only has 3 full scholarships for their team.
