Cal State Fullerton or UT at Austin?

Question

I want to be an elementary school teacher. i graduated HS and live here in texas but i plan to live in california and have my life there. im attending comm. college but do not know which university to transfer to. anyone have suggestions.

I attended CSUF and the teacher credential program.  I think is was helpful to get a job in the area since I student taught in the district in which I got hired.  Jobs are scarce right now...which I am sure you know.  I transferred from a UC school since CSUF is well known for its' teacher credential program.   Hope that helps.

I'm biased (an Ex), but I'd still say Texas. UT has some of the highest rated departments in the country and some great professors. I can't speak for the education department though.

I do not like the layout/campus of UT Austin.

Too many busy roads going through and it is hard to walk to classes.

just my opinion though.
