Hi

We are going to Cala Mayor for my hen weekend, there are 12 of us going and I wondered if anyone can advise on how best to get from the airport to the blue bay hotel, cala mayor please?

I have had a quote of £200 for a minibus but it seems a bit steep, has anyone got a cab or bus that could tell me how much it might be please?

thank you

  1. This journey is about 7 miles and, therefore, £200 seems a bit OTT.   You could choose "shuttle direct" who would transfer you all for £92.88 (£7.74 each) or via the "transfer store" for £85.22 (£7.10 each).  These fares are for a one-way trip, so would need to be doubled for a return.   For either of these you will need to book on line.  I have personally used "shuttle direct" and rate them highly.

    Hope this helps.

Sorry don´t know how to do a link to the web page.

  3. £200 pounds is extortionate as Cala Mayor is just at the other side of Palma and quite near to the airport. A taxi from the airport to Palma Nova is about 30 euros ( one way cost )and you will be travelling about half that distance so it would cost about 15 to 20 euros to get there. 6 taxis maximum to take you all would therefore only cost from 90 to 120 euros in total at the most.

Enjoy your stay, don't drink too much and stick together.
