let me preface this: i absolutely cannot stand people asking for others to do their homework, and i feel beyond terrible about myself for doing this... but if you could please help me out that'd be great.

what are the asymptotes for

f(x) = (x^2 - 4) / (x - 2)

i need all the asymptotes, pretty sure vertical = 2, and that there isn't a horizontal. so what's the slant?

  1. sorry , x = 2 is NOT an asymptote...graph has a 'hole' at that value...factor the top and cancel....y = x + 2 , x ╪ 2

  2. Asymptotes: x=2 and slant is x=y...ANS
