Calcium carbonate decomposes upon heating, producing calcium oxide and carbon dioxide gas. Can anybody help?

a)write a balanced chemical equation for this reaction.

b)how many grams of calcium oxide will remain after 12.25 g of calcium carbonate is completely decomposed?

c)What volume of carbon dioxide gas is produced from this amount of calcium carbonate? The gas is measured at 0.95 atmospheres and 10 degrees C.

I dont get this one can anybody help me?

  1. a) CaCO3 -> CaO + CO2
    This is balanced chemical equation

    b) n=m
         M
    12.25g/100.088g/mol
    100.088
    =0.12 moles
    0.12x100.0888
    =6.73g

    c)Do same thing n=m
                      M
    0.12molesx44.009g/mol
    =5.28moles
