  1. You can buy HEN SCRATCH at the feed store that will supply them with the correct nutrition they need and you are seeking for your bird.

  2. I have never tried fish bone I am sure its o.k

i gave my hens crushed egg shells and they were fine :)

  3. Chickens get calcium by leaching it through their crop.  All they need is a source of Calcium.  Fish bones, egg shells, rocks.  It doesn't really make a difference.  They get get calcium by eating rocks when they peck at their food.  If you have broilers like a mass farming system, they will need a calcium suppliment but the formula for feed is provided for you.  The requirement for calcium goes up more than normal if you have breeders.

  4. If your chickens free range, then they will get most of everything they need.  However, it is always a good idea to have some calcium supplement available for them if they want some.  This can consist of a supplement that you can buy or you can just crush the egg shells up real good and put them in there.

I don't see any reason that crushed fish bones would harm them, so I would say you can use them.

Don't waste your money on hen scratch, it contains very little nutrition and little or no calcium
