Calculas needed for dentistry ?

i'm taking an AP calculas, and don't want to do it. is it vital and compulsory to get into dentistry?

what is the benefit of taking this course ?

IN your opinion which one is more beneficial, AP ENGLISH OR AP CALCULAS?

  1. Given that you can't seem to spell Calculus properly, I'd vote for AP English.

    I doubt that calculus is needed for dentistry, but, given where you are, I would question limiting your choices so early in the game.  I had a freshman roommate in college who was going to major in physics.  By the end of freshman year, when he actually declared his major, it was English Lit.

    Moral of the story is that things and desires change.  If you're halfway good at calculus, you should go ahead and finish it, get a good score in the test, which will give you college credit for freshman physics.  If you decide to change to something like engineering, you'll be properly prepared.
